Dutch soprano Nikki Treurniet is scheduled to join the ensemble at Staatstheater Hannover where he repertoire will include roles such as Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel and Zerlina in Don Giovanni. Other future highlights are the role of Mrs Nordstrom in Sondheim's A Little Night Music at the Nederlandse Reisopera, her debut at the NTR ZaterdagMatinee in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam as Ginevra Scotti in Franz Schreker's Die Gezeichneten conducted by Markus Stenz and Schumann's Szenen as Goethe's Faust with the The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. 


Recent engagements include her debut at the Dutch National Opera performing the role of Anima Ingrate in Monteverdi’s Il Ballo delle Ingrate with Les Talents Lyriques conducted by Christoph Rousset and the role of Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel at the NJO Festival with Antony Hermus conducting.

Nikki participated in a masterclass with conductor Daniele Gatti and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra singing Mahler’s 4th Symphony, sang Händel’s Messiah with the Dutch Händel Society and the Nederlandse Reisopera and Saint-Saëns' Oratorio de Noël with the he Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. Other works on her concert repertoire include Bach’s Matthäus-Passion, Johannes-Passion and Weihnachtsoratorium, Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem and Mozart’s Krönungsmesse and Exultate Jubilate.

Nikki graduated from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and the Dutch National Opera Academy where she already sang roles such as the title role in Massenet’s Cendrillon, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Silvia in Mozart’s Ascanio in Alba and the Elf in Mendelssohn’s Midsummer Night’s Dream with The Residentie Orkest The Hague.
